If I Had a World of My Own, Everything Would be Nonsense.

A few nights ago I sat down to watch the original Alice in Wonderland for the first time in years, and all I have to say is WOW. whatttttt a freaking mind trip. The entire movie had me literally lost in my own head to the point that days later I'm still trying to figure out what I was experiencing. All of those acid trip rumors floating around about Lewis Carroll? Yeah, they're totally true. Weirdo trigger #1: Synesthesia, aka cross-wiring your senses...seeing sounds, tasting colors, etc. Weirdo trigger #2: constant shifts in perception and acceptance of the situation. On top of this, all of the nightmarish, random nonsense that was prevalent throughout the movie just continued to bugg me out even more and I couldn't stop thinking about what it would be like to be stuck in that journey inside your own mind. Straight. Creepy.

However, now I suppose I'm inspired. FLASHBACK: Check out Annie Leibovitz's 2003 editorial in Vogue featuring model Natalia Vodianova and guest starring Tom Ford, Galliano, Marc Jacobs, Mr. Karl Lagerfeld, Gaultier, Viktor & Rolf, and many more.

"If I had a world of my own, everything would be nonsense. Nothing would be what it is, because everything would be what it isn't. And contrary wise, what is, it wouldn't be. And what it wouldn't be, it would. You see?”
