Diesel's Teaser Tuesday

Last night Diesel Launched their new in-store concert series, Teaser Tuesdays, kicking it off with a performance by Jessee Boykins III. While I have to admit I was in attendance more for the free booze (sponsored by Ty Ku) and to oogle some of the Black Gold Collection, the concert was a success! The Event was held at Planet Diesel on 5th Avenue and was set up to showcase new and established artists. It's an open event and will take place on the last Tuesday of every month so check it out!

Odd Inspiration

Right, soooo. It's yet another miserable Monday only today is much worse than any of the already terrible beginnings to my week: I'm deathly, catastrophically, ill- I might just collapse in the middle of the dingy computer lab I'm furiously writing this post from. Ok whatever that's a lie but I feel like shit and after spending about 1.5 hours stalking my favorite blogs I come across THIS picture via The Man Repeller discussing Sophomore Clothing's newest lookbook.

The first thing that catches my eye is the "TOUCH ME I'M SICK" basic tee- It's funny how that quick glimpse suddenly got me inspired-now that it's almost time to stop bundeling up I am heavily anticipating being able to just throw on jeans (or gasp, shorts) and a t shirt and head out. Here are some of my favorite graphic T's for this season!

Now after debating skipping out on algebra to go home and die slowly in bed, now I believe I'm going to hop on the bus and head to Urban for a little retail therapy. LAATTTERRRRR

Dreaming of Another World...and Tooth Fairies

Check out Guinevere van Seenus in Italian Vogue's March Issue shot by Tim Walker! So. Beautiful. I was immediately shocked at how chilling they were- it was almost like a creepy haunting feeling washed over my body...weird. Walker, who has always been one of my favorite photographers, is definitely an artist with a distinct style- no matter what the story of the shoot is, he always finds a way to incorporate his distinct and offbeat style. I always go nuts for supposed "obscurity," and Walker works it.

Funny though, after reviewing the pictures, all I could think about was that corny early 2000's horror movie "Darkness Falls." Guinevere is totally resembling the demonic tooth fairy terrorizing the characters throughout the entire stupid plot, no? Compare the pictures below:

Chloé Summer Runway Preview Event

Last night I trekked uptown to the Chloé Boutique to check out an exclusive preview of their S/S Runway Collection- absolutely. stunning. The event was held to benefit New Yorkers for Children and the evening was filled with tons of fabulous food, booze, and gorgeous Manhattan socialites. Peep my pics below!

Kate Moss, Cigarette Queen

Oh haaay Kate Moss, I was never really one of your giant fans but you've finally got me at cancer stick. Moss made her return to the runway after a three year absence closing the Louis Vuitton show clad with a cigarette in hand. The premise of the show was about "A Woman's Right to Live Life as She Chooses," and Moss conveniently strutted her stuff on National No Smoking Day right after the government announced it was pushing ahead with plans to remove cigarettes from view in stores. SWEEEEET KATE MOSS, HOW REBELLIOUS OF YOU.

However, I do have to admit that I go nuts over artsy pictures of people smoking. Who knew murder could look so good?
